2 What other areas of business can you think of that operate solely or mostly in English?
These days, many areas of business need talking in English. Especially, trading company, information industry, work an interpreter, translator, and tour conductor need skill of speaking English very well.
Trader must bargain other traders in English. Interpreter and translator must have special skill of English and dialect. Tour conductor must talk with a lot of people and explain many things to them.
I think that very a lot of business need skill of speak English.
3 Why are the Chinese leaning English – why isn’t the rest of the world learning Chinese?
These days China is very developing in industry. China will be biggest country. Chinese must need to study English in order to develop Chinese company very well. So,
Chinese are learning English.
On the other hand, we don’t know Chinese. So, the rest of the world isn’t learning Chinese.
I agree your answer for no.3.

I think there are many people who is learning English now so not learning English is equal to waste getting chances with own power and talking with that people.
